OVERVIEW
Guys, where are we on this?
Running a design studio means running two jobs at once: the creative work, and the business behind it. For a founder doing that with a small team and a rotating cast of freelancers, the business side rarely lives in one place. Atelier is an internal operations tool built for Prakruti, a solo founder running a branding studio. It externalises her workflow so her team can work a lil more independently.
BACKGROUND & PROBLEM
Prakruti's business lived entirely in her head.
Briefs, approvals, quality control, and financial decisions all ran through Prakruti. If she wasn't around, things waited for her. She'd tried to fix this once with a more structured system in Notion. It worked, but barely. Neither did the off-the-shelf project management tools she tried after.
A founder running 5–7 projects at once across a small team shouldn't have to context-switch between five apps just to understand what's happening. She couldn't delegate, switch off, or get a clear picture of the business she was running.
SOLUTION
Introducing Atelier
Atelier is an internal operations tool designed around how Flaneur Works actually operates. It brings projects, finances, tasks, and team coordination into one shared system giving her team the context to work more independently and creating a system she could step away from without feeling like everything would stop.
